We specialize in a thoughtful, caring, and integrated approach to patient-centered dentistry with an eye for aesthetics. We’re family-owned, women-owned, and independently operated, which lets us put our patients first, keep things local, and stay connected to the community.

Meet Our Doctors.
Total Dental Fitness is an independent dental practice that’s family-owned and operated by Dr. Lauren Mies and Dr. Kristen Ciccarelli, who live, raise their families, and support the community they serve.

In the office. Dr. Ciccarelli prides herself on a patient-centered dental philosophy. She loves the personal nature of dentistry and forming connections with her patients. She's passionate about expanding her knowledge through continuing education courses and is a member of the renowned Spear Study Club. Prior to owning Total Dental Fitness, Dr. Ciccarelli worked at multiple highly-rated private practices in Oakland County.
Outside of the office. Dr. Ciccarelli enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time outdoors with her husband, two sons, and English Cocker Spaniel. As a true food lover, she loves to cook, bake, and try new restaurants in the Detroit area, and is always looking for new recommendations!

In the office. Dr. Mies enjoys all aspects of dentistry and prides herself on a conservative, patient-based practice philosophy. She enjoys expanding her clinical skills and knowledge by taking a variety of continuing education courses. Prior to owning Total Dental Fitness, Dr. Mies worked at TDF as an associate and spent several years at multiple well-established private practices in the suburbs of Milwaukee.Outside of the office. Dr. Mies enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, running, staying active outdoors, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and traveling. She looks forward to meeting you and your family in the office soon!
