Glen D. Maylath, DDS
Education
A native of Michigan, Dr. Glen Maylath earned his bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College. He then moved on to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, where he served his last two years as class president. Dr. Maylath, a Gulf War veteran, received advanced dental specialty training when completing a general practice residency at Fort Riley Kansas. He earned the rank of major while serving six years overseas with the U.S. Army.
Each year, he takes many hours of continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest dental advancements. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Family and Fun
As a father of three, Dr. Maylath enjoys working in a family-friendly environment. In fact, his wife, Claire, serves as the office manager at Total Dental Fitness. When he is not at the office, Dr. Maylath enjoys teaching and participating in a variety of outdoor sports. He is a ski instructor with Blizzard Ski and Snowboard School and a cross country running coach at Cranbrook/Kingswood High School in Bloomfield Hills.
Dr. Lauren Mies, DDS
Dr. Lauren Mies, DDS, is a Metro-Detroit native. She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2013. After graduation, Dr. Mies provided comprehensive dental care in a well-established private family practice in the North Shore of Milwaukee until relocating back to Michigan after the birth of her son, Benjamin, to be closer to loved ones and raise her family. Dr. Mies and her husband, Jeff, welcomed their daughter, Isla, shortly after arriving back in Michigan.
Dr. Mies enjoys all aspects of dentistry and prides herself on a conservative, patient-based practice philosophy. She enjoys expanding her clinical skills and knowledge by taking a variety of continuing education courses. Dr. Mies is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Michigan Dental Association, the Oakland County District Dental Society and the Motor City Study Club.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mies enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, running and staying active by being outdoors, exploring new recipes in the kitchen and traveling. She looks forward to meeting you and your family in the office soon!
Dr. Kristen Ciccarelli, DDS
Dr. Kristen Ciccarelli grew up in Metro-Detroit and completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame, majoring in Biology. She moved to Milwaukee to further her education and earned a Master of Communication from Marquette University, working in orthopedic sales prior to completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Ciccarelli prides herself on a patient-centered dental philosophy. She loves the personal nature of dentistry and forming connections with her patients. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge through continuing education courses and is a member of the renowned Spear Study Club. She is also active in organized dentistry as a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association and the Oakland County Dental Society.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ciccarelli enjoys traveling, staying active and spending time outdoors with her husband, two sons, and English Cocker Spaniel. As a true food lover, she loves to cook and try new restaurants in the Detroit area, and is always looking for new recommendations!
